Achieve shared divisional and company annual sales budgets. Maintain budgeted margins to ensure profitability. Increase customer base through direct and indirect sales techniques. Maintain and sustain contact with existing customers. Promote the Company capabilities. Continuously improve personal knowledge on all products using assistance of internal personnel or approved external sources. Manage your expenses within budget, through clearing all proposed expenditure with the divisional Manager. Discuss quotations and accept orders from customers, through a defined process of sales, i.e. quotation register, procurement pricing, manager approval, logistic support. Create a win, win situation with regard to company and client. Continuous follow up on all tenders and enquiries, as well as preparing quotations from inception stage through to final delivery to client, should the order materialise. Develop a strong business relationship with all customers. Travel within reason to all areas of company customers, staying over for extended periods as necessary. Entertaining prospective or existing customers within reason to promote sales. Promote the company equipment and products at all times. Carry out plant surveys; compile necessary data to develop positive enquiry information. Assist other departments when necessary in the promotion of other products, chemicals or services. Attend sales meetings, budget meetings, sales seminars as required to improve personal knowledge and business understanding. Issue daily & weekly reports as requested by Management, as well as visit reports from all field trips. Confirm all telephonic discussions with client in writing. Monitor and assist in the management of stock levels related to sundry sales equipment and items. Assist in defining minimum stock levels and ordering cycles. Assist internal sales staff as necessary, within all solution divisions. Communicate the company vision and values, through professional and attitude and actions. Maintain safety standards and sound housekeeping principles and due care of all equipment/assets under your control or care. Obtain information about activities of similar organizations and report to management. Assist with monthly internal financial reporting. Perform any other reasonable duties required by your designated divisional manager. Perform all duties to the latest ISO 9001:2000 Quality Standard requirements. Function as part of a Team at all times. Ensure total confidentiality of all information, internal and external, pertaining to the business, all its Employees and Management. Perform all necessary computer and administrative functions within your job function. Communicate with clients and all company staff in a professional manner.
