Purpose of the position To process sales orders received from customers via EDI, Fax to Email and ensure that required product is correctly billed and in line with the pricing list, monitor and make sure that orders are processed on the day received (daily). Telesales Monitor, track and follow up with Back Orders with the customers to see if they are still active To identify potential customers and follow up to achieve new sales or refer the customer to the relevant sales person Monitor and ensure knowledge of product and company and that policies and procedure are followed Responsible for ensuring that the team meets service levels and other key performance indicator targets. Responsible for providing feedback to the team and guiding them on how to improve the quality of work Order processing Extreme accuracy and knowledge of order processing Ensure smooth running of order input to delivery Monitor and follow up to ensure completion of the orders to assist sales team to achieve their targets Customer Service Internal and External customer liaison Representative and regional sales force liaison Handling customer queries regarding their orders, products and the quality Monitor and ensure excellent customer service are maintained. Administration Recording and filing sales documents and orders Photocopying and faxing as required Qualifications and Experience 2 years experience in a similar position FMCG experience will be an advantage Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel,) intermediate level Telephone orders experience In Depth Product and Retail Business Knowledge Ms Office Suite (Ms Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Required Competencies Strong organisational ability Effective communication with all relevant parties (team player) Proactive, Innovative and time management Customer service orientation Strong administrative ability and multi tasking abilities The ability to interact with customers (internal and external) in a polite, but assertive manner High stress threshold Good communication skills, written and oral Driven, passionate and results oriented. Problem solving skills Attention to detail Ability to work well under pressure and within tight deadlines
