Reports to:Group HR Manager Incumbent Liaises with (Information in and out): Group HR Manager Line Managers HRBPs External Stakeholders (External Training Providers, MerSETA and W&RSETA) Finance Department Sales Department Supply Chain Department Employees Job Description Purpose of the Job To developing training modules and workshops that help employees learn essential skills in the workplace, by assessing the skill level of current employees, creating effective training materials, and delivering training programs Key Performance Areas (KPAs) Identify and assess training needs within the company Provides input to the Training Strategy and the development of specific training development plans Create a supportive and conducive learning environment Helps employees improve upon and/or enhance existing skills Job key responsibilities Optimisation of current Learning Management System Platform for Company. Conduct training for the group. Involved in customizing training content to suit audiences and address skills gaps for various individuals within the business. Advising and consulting to clients around learning and training needs. Client portfolio included the following areas: IMT also with subsidiaries within the group. Internal and external relationship management with training providers and internal clients to meet various business needs and demands. Work together with the line managers, and individual clients to identify potential gaps and providing guidance on initiatives that can be put into place to achieve these objectives Conducting Training Needs Analysis. Implementation of Employee Development Plans against set plans post consultation with Business. Ensuring efficient payment and processing of supplier payments. Compiling of Quarterly Training Calendar – for the group. Effective Coordination of In-house training as per IDP requests by internal clients. Reporting, compiling and analysing of the Monthly reporting on group and IDP Stats. Assisting in the IDP process for employees across designated regions. Presenting at quarterly EE Committee on Talent Development initiatives. External Stakeholders relationship management with MERSETA and other external service providers. Responsible for ensuring the successful completion leadership development programmes: Tasks are straightforward, routine and frequently repetitive (50%) Tasks are varied and moderately complex (25%) Tasks are highly complex (25%) Routine based position requiring qualified artisan (tasks straightforward and frequently repeated.) Mandate: Talent development Management in all relative requirements. Functions as a Director of a division, department or large program and typically supervises management personnel and indirectly supervises subordinate staff under this position’s line of authority PART TWO: JOB SPECIFICATION Skills relevant to the job include the education and/or experience, specialised training and competencies required by the incumbent to be able to perform the job in accordance with specified expectations.
