Reporting to: National Sales and Marketing Manager Objectives Successfully list Company as a supply vendor with buying groups in specified target industries and markets. Promote and Sell concept of Company product solutions. New Business Development Actively target new Large End-User business within all sectors of target market and in line with company requirements. Target Specifying Market to introduce Company’s range of relevant products to market segment Research and reporting of segmented target market. Developing sales strategy to penetrate target market on national footprint. Client visits to target market to conduct product presentations and other sales related activities. Day to Day management of client queries, quoting, order processing and general client support services as part of the sales team. As and when required and appropriate, joint client on-site visits with key client accounts. Marketing Assist in preparation for any exhibitions that we either attend alone or jointly with distributors Other Role Requirements and Key Performance Indicators Attend sales meetings as set by Sales Manager Monthly and Quarterly Sales and Account activity reporting in accordance to company standard of reporting. Reporting include but not limited to: Assigned Regional Sales Performance Overview (actual vs budgets, growth/decline trends) Key Client sales performance (sales comparison reports, actual to date vs historic, growth and decline trends) Customer activity reporting Key customer visit reporting and recording Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly goal setting Business Travel Planning Responsible for managing all aspects of the technical / commercial customer interface to generate increased profitable sales Create sales activity plan in support of tactical objectives and provide additional input in form of detailed sales forecast plans etc., with regular reporting of these plans. Prepare and present customer presentations. Maintain area / customer records. To provide a proven track history with the ability of being able negotiate and close sales deals. Based in Johannesburg. Fluent in English, both written and oral. Afrikaans will be a benefit. Driver’s license code 8 Personnel Characteristics Result orientated Strong Communication Skills with customers and colleagues. Strategic in approach and planning Persistent in attainment of goals set. Self-Driven, Self-Motivated. Must be able to set our, good time management skills a must. Result focused. Sound Planning and Organizational Skills. Intelligent and Technically competent Confident and Approachable Focused and Committed to see goals through to the attainment thereof. Kind to others Other Experience in MS Office (Word, Power Point, Excel) Experience on MS Outlook Experience in using business online platforms, i.e. LinkedIn.
